Register for the 2021 National Arts Action Summit, April 5-9

AATA is proud to join Americans for the Arts as a National Partner once again for the National Arts Action Summit! This year the National Arts Action Summit (April 5-9) will be a multi-day digital event bringing together arts advocates from across the country. The following week (April 12-16) will be Arts Advocacy Week, when advocates will meet with their congressional leaders bringing their passion, knowledge, and stories to advance policy. The deadline to submit a request for full registration support is April 2, 2021.

Please submit Candidate Applications and Nomination Forms by May 6th, 2021. We encourage you to nominate candidates and vote in the upcoming August 2021 AATA elections!

Our nation was devastated by the March 16th shootings in the Atlanta area that left eight people dead. While we are still learning the details, we know that most of the victims were women of Asian descent. These horrific attacks are the latest examples of the rise in incidents of hateful rhetoric and violent crimes perpetrated against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) since the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Sharing Poster Sessions from the 2020 AATA Conference

When we pivoted our 2020 in-person conference last year to an all virtual event, there were some categories of sessions that we were not able to include in the program, so we invited the Poster Session presenters to provide us with a revised digital version of their accepted proposals. We are pleased to be able to share a collection of several of the sessions in a digital format with you. Just a reminder that if you want to submit a proposal for the AATA’s 52nd Annual Conference to be held at the San Diego, CA this fall, please do so by March 25th.
