July 2, 2020 | Susan Boxer Kappel, MA, ATR-BC, LCAT, CGP, Conference Chair

During these challenging times of Coronavirus, we understand the apprehension about making plans to attend a conference which may require air travel and a hotel stay—and is still four months away. As previously communicated, in response to the feedback we are receiving from our members, we are developing plans to ensure that everyone will have an opportunity to participate in the AATA 2020 Conference in some shape or form, be it in person or virtually.

We are also pleased to announce that we revised our conference refund policy to make it even more flexible than before. Due to the unprecedented nature of this year’s conference, we have revised the policy to include a refund for attendees who may need to cancel their participation for any reason related to Covid-19. This will now ensure attendees that whether AATA has to cancel or they have to cancel for any reason related to the pandemic, they will be able to either receive a full refund or they can divert part or all of the fees to the AATA virtual conference series.

Also, to provide everyone with a little more time to register during early bird, we have extended the deadline to July 8th at 11:59 pm Eastern Time. So whenever you are ready, we invite you to register for the conference during early bird for the lowest rates.

Remember, the AATA 2020 Conference is Your Way this year! We look forward to your participation. Watch for a brief survey invitation next week about your conference attendance plans.
