As part of the AATA’s ongoing commitment to increasing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), the AATA Board of Directors approved the following DE&I Mission and DE&I Vision statements to guide our work incorporating DE&I into all aspects the Association.
DE&I Mission Statement
The AATA critically examines our structures, values, and actions to ensure the continuous integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization and the art therapy community.
DE&I Vision Statement
The AATA demonstrates equity and belonging in all aspects of the association and in the profession of art therapy.
Please note that the current DE&I Mission Statement was initially approved as the Vision Statement.
