Mark your calendar for AATA’s 52nd Annual Conference to be held at the newly renovated Town & Country Resort and Convention Center in sunny San Diego, CA!

The core conference program will be Thursday, Oct. 28th to Saturday, Oct. 30th. Pre-Conference All Day Optional Advanced Practice Courses and Ancillary Meetings such as the Assembly of Chapters and the Coalition of Art Therapy Educators (CATE) Meetings will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 27th. Post Conference Half Day Optional Advanced Practice Courses will be held on Sunday, Oct. 31st (8 to 11 am).

Call for Proposals: The Call for Proposals will be open on January 28th and proposals will be due by March 25. Watch for more announcements.

AATA 2021 Conference Your Way: As we continue to monitor the global Covid-19 pandemic, AATA will once again develop a contingency plan for an “all virtual event” if the situation requires it. If we go forward with the conference in San Diego, sessions will be recorded onsite and we will also hold a post virtual conference so that regardless of your attendance interest both options will be available.

2020 Virtual Conferences Wrap-Up: If you attended one of the AATA Virtual Conferences in 2020, remember that you can attain your Continuing Education Certificates, and access sessions that you did not attend during the live stream via the On-Demand library. On-demand sessions are available through December 31, 2021. To read the instructions on accessing Continuing Education Certificates and the On-Demand Session visit: AATA Institute for Continuing Education in Art Therapy: Virtual Conference 2020 Homepage.
