Did you know that the American Art Therapy Association provides online access to several art therapy specific bibliographies and resource lists? Thanks to our incredible volunteers, each list was crafted to offer evidence of the effects of art therapy with various populations and can be used to advance the field. Each list is available on the Research page on our website, and the direct links are provided below:
- Outcomes Bibliography – a listing of art therapy outcomes and single-subject studies developed by the Research Committee (updated in January 2021).
- Multicultural Committee Selected Bibliography – a listing of art therapy specific references pertaining to multiculturalism, social and cultural diversity, and social justice created by the Multicultural Committee (updated in August 2020).
- Art Therapy Assessments Bibliography – a listing of art therapy assessments created by the Research Committee (updated in 2018).
- National Art Therapy Thesis and Dissertation Abstract Compilation – a collection of final project abstracts submitted by art therapy graduate programs in the United States and maintained by the Research Committee (updated in 2018).
