Online Registration for Arts Advocacy Day closes this Sunday February 17.  This year’s Nancy Hanks Lecture on Arts and Public Policy is not to be missed.  The Legendary Rita Moreno will host with a special introduction by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor and a performance by Brian Stokes Mitchell! So don’t Miss the National Arts Action Summit, March 4-5, 2019!

Hosted by Americans for the Arts in partnership with over 85 national arts organizations, Arts Advocacy Day is the largest gathering of its kind, bringing together a broad cross section of America’s cultural and civic organizations. Grassroots advocates from across the country come to Washington, DC to meet with their Members of Congress to garner support for issues like arts education policy, the charitable tax deduction, and funding for the National Endowment for the Arts.

Come represent art therapy on the Hill!  As a National Partner for Arts Advocacy Day, the AATA is working within the event’s Legislative Planning Committee to help set legislative priorities for 2019 in the areas of Arts in Health and Arts & the Military. Read about our involvement in 2018, and get excited for Arts Advocacy Day 2019!
