We are saddened to announce the passing of Don Seiden, ATR on August 8, 2019. An artist, educator, and art therapy pioneer, Don had tremendous impact on the field of art therapy. He established the art therapy program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and served as the first president of the Illinois Art Therapy Association. Read Don’s obituary here.
Don Seiden’s Memorial will take place Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Art Therapy and Counseling Department at SAIC. MacLean Ballroom,112 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60603. You may RSVP here.
