The Multicultural Quilt is an annual project undertaken by the Multicultural Committee— and a core part of the Annual Conference experience. Each year in the Open Art Studio, participants select muslin pieces and use their artistic expression to design quilt pieces that “embrace diversity piece-by-piece.” After each piece is collected, it is later stitched together to make the final quilt that showcases the diversity and collaborative nature of our organization. This final product is then raffled off at the following year’s conference.
This year, we’re excited to offer two stunning quilts: the 2024 Multicultural Quilt, featuring art from the 2023 San Diego conference, and the 2010 Multicultural Quilt, showcasing contributions from the 2009 Dallas conference. These beautiful quilts will soon find new homes with two lucky members.
