Already Registered?  It goes without saying that most people attend the AATA conferences to learn new things and expand their knowledge.  With 230 educational sessions on the program this year that’s an easy item to check off your list.  People also attend the AATA conference to network and meet art therapists.  Last but not least, making art and expressing creativity are other reasons attendees keep coming back to the AATA conferences year after year.

Here are some more ways to expand and enrich your conference experience in Kansas City this year:

Expand your continuing education opportunities by adding an All-day Advanced Practice Course on Wednesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (7 hours of continuing education) or a Half-day Advance Practice Course on Sunday from 8:00 to 11:00 am (3 hours of continuing education).  These experiential sessions provide a wealth of knowledge and information using hands-on art directives.  Explore the sessions that are still availableWorkshops are always popular and there are still some sessions available.  These “experiential” offerings, are held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and each workshop provides 1.5 hours of continuing education.  But hurry, many are full—and others are filling up fastRegister online or call the AATA National Office to register by phone at (888) 290-0878 or (703) 548-5860.
