We are excited to announce the outcome of AATA’s association elections for the Board of Directors and Nominations Committee. The Board and Nominations Committee sincerely thank all the candidates who ran for a leadership position in support of our association and profession.
Newly Elected Board Members
Bani Malhotra, Ph.D., ATR-BC, Kachina Mooney, MA, LPC, ATR-BC, and Marybeth Orton, ATR-BC, ATCS, ICST, LPAT-S, will be joining the Board of Directors. They will begin their term in January 2026.
Additionally, AATA Board Member Traci Bitondo, Ph.D., LPAT, LPC, ATR-BC, ATCS, ACS, was elected to serve as President-Elect for 2026 – 2027; and current AATA Secretary Michael Galarraga, LPC, ATR-BC, CSAC, CSOTP, was reelected.
They will be joining Raquel Farrell-Kirk, MS, ATR-BC, who will serve as AATA President beginning on January 1, and Kathryn Snyder, MA, ATR-BC, LPC, PhD, who will continue to serve as AATA Treasurer.
Newly Elected Nominations Committee Member
Sumin Kim, MA, LPC, LAPC, ATR, has been elected to the Nominations Committee, which helps encourage others to serve as leaders in our association.
