March 11, 2021 | Susan Boxer Kappel, MA, ATR-BC, LCAT, CGP, Conference Chair

When we pivoted our 2020 in-person conference last year to an all virtual event, there were some categories of sessions that we were not able to include in the program, so we invited the Poster Session presenters to provide us with a revised digital version of their accepted proposals.

We are pleased to be able to share a collection of several of the sessions with you:

  • Grief Art Therapy for a Woman Who Experienced Physical Loss from Cancer by Sojung Park, PhD, ATR-BC and Mina Ahn, MEd
  • Working with Clients with Substance Abuse: Art Prevails by Charlene Natterman
  • A Case Study of an Art Therapy Major Undergraduate Student on the Psychological Changing Process of a Patient with Terminal Cancer during Experiences of Art Therapy in Hospice by Jee Eun Kim, PhD, ATCS, ATR-BC, LCAT and Seo Youn Song

We invite you to explore the them here: https://www.arttherapy.org/upload/2020Posters.pdf!

Just a reminder that if you want to submit a proposal for the AATA’s 52nd Annual Conference to be held at the San Diego, CA this fall, please do so by March 25th. Submit online here. If you have any questions please contact Barbara Florence via email at bflorence@arttherapy.org. To learn more about the 2021 conference visit www.arttherapy.org/annual-conferences/.
