Ed Regensburg, MA, ATR-BC, CHT, LCAT, combines his wide-ranging expertise as an artist, author, lector, and consultant with his 40 year career as an art psychotherapist. He has practiced in a variety of settings including inpatient, medical and psychiatric units, and education services, specializing in working with children with special needs. He co-developed the graduate program of clinical art therapy at Long Island University – Post Campus (LIU Post). He served as an adjunct professor of art therapy at LIU Post for ten years and continues to help organize intern-training programs throughout the tri-state region.
In 1992, Regensburg established Wellness Education and Treatment through the Arts Program in Great Neck, New York. Additionally, he served as the Executive Director of the North Shore Rehabilitation Center for fifteen years. Regensburg has consulted with numerous agencies on building art therapy programs and bringing his wellness model to both clinical and corporate settings. Regensburg’s model of work, Quantum Imagery, is “the summation of [my] life’s mission to reach people when words alone are not enough.” He has written two books on the topic, entitled Quantum Imagery, and Quantum Correlations.
