April 6, 2021
In May 2020, art therapists shared their experiences during the pandemic in the American Art Therapy Association’s (AATA) Coronavirus Impact Survey. Our report told the story of art therapists standing on the frontlines of the pandemic while coping with tremendous challenges. Now, a year into the pandemic, we are launching a follow-up survey to assess how art therapists are doing. While our last survey focused on the entire art therapy community (including students and educators), this survey is focused on clinicians’ work with clients. You don’t need to be an AATA member to participate.

The survey will take 5 – 10 minutes to complete and consists of 15 questions divided into three parts: questions related to the pandemic, about you, and optional short responses. We would appreciate your response by April 19, 2021. AATA will use your responses to this follow-up survey to continue advocating for mental health and accessibility to art therapy. The results of the survey will be available on our blog. If you have any questions, contact us at info@arttherapy.org.
