When the Coronavirus required us to switch course to an all-virtual conference this year, we were nervous that the pandemic would also rob us of the most loved aspects of our annual conferences: the engagement and connection among attendees. Simply put, we were wrong. A huge thank you to all who are attending, participating in the chat features during sessions, and showing up (on camera) for the networking sessions! You’ve helped to make this an inspiring and thought-provoking conference—and more accessible to people around the world!
We’re also excited that so many of you have been participating in art-making and posting it on social media. (Follow the tag #AATA2020 on Twitter or Instagram!) And, thanks to many of you who are sharing your virtual experience—your laptop setup, your pets and, of course, your coffee (a conference must-have!). Check out some of our favorite posts below!
If you haven’t joined us for #AATA2020, there’s still time to register for Day 3, our final day, Nov. 7th! Register today and get access to 19 hours of educational content live (also available on demand). Please note that registration ends at midnight EST on Friday, Nov. 6th. Hope to see you Saturday!
Looking hard at how I see the older adults in my life and work based on their age thanks to @2littlewings #AATA2020 #scribbledrawing pic.twitter.com/nFGNcwRgp8

That's a wrap of day one of #AATA2020! I created two pieces of artwork today from prompts (left: what do you fear?; right: three things about your culture –> instantly thought of my mom and greek food 😋) pic.twitter.com/HC2VXeKMGB
