Legislative Update

States Move Forward with Title Protection or Licensure Efforts

Michaele Barsnack, ATR-BC, Buckeye Art Therapy Association GAC Chair, and Don Cutcher, ATR-BC, member of the Governmental Affairs Committee, met with State Representative Jim McGregor who agreed to sponsor an art therapy title protection bill. BATA members are currently seeking co-sponsors and encourage all Ohio art therapists to become actively involved in this initiative.
